It’s important to remember that horses are powerful animals. Like any adventure activity, riding carries risk. That’s why we take safety seriously. It’s important that you respect our horses, listen to our guides, and ride within your level of experience. This is the key to staying safe and making the most of your time on the trail.
To ensure our rides commence on time, please arrive 30 minutes before your tour departure time, for check-in and helmet fitting. Late arrivals may miss the ride, so please plan ahead. You’ll need to sign a quick waiver and let us know your riding experience, so we can match you with the right horse to ensure you have the best experience. Factors we take into consideration include your past riding experience, height and weight. Please note riders must be able to speak and understand English and be in good physical condition to participate. More details below.
Please Note: Refunds are not issued if guests are disqualified from riding due to not meeting these requirements.
Please Note: You are welcome to get changed and showered after / before the ride, at the amenity block at our check-in office. Complimentary towels are provided for your use.
We strongly recommend taking out the appropriate travel insurance at the time of booking. Recommended travel insurance should include both medical evacuation and horse riding coverage. Under no circumstances will Cape Trib Horse Rides be responsible or liable for any costs or damages incurred as a result of inadequate insurance, lack of insurance or non-compliance of insurance obligation by you or any other third party.
