Julian is the hands-on boss and the one we rely on to build, fix, and keep everything in top shape. From fences to saddles, he’s always finding a way to make things stronger, better, and ready for the next adventure. When he’s not wrangling helicopters, he’s wrangling horses — and somehow keeps this whole show on the road.
Chilli’s basically part human, part tractor. You’ll spot him with a bucket in one hand and a spanner in the other, making sure the horses (and the machinery) are fed, watered, and happy. Horse Safety Australia Certified.
Need local knowledge, horse wisdom, or a good yarn about the Daintree? Gerry’s your man. Jackie’s living the dream — part mermaid, part cowgirl, and always at home where the rainforest meets the reef. She’s just as comfortable in the saddle as she is by the sea, and she can’t wait to share the magic of this place (and a few good laughs) with you. Horse Safety Australia Certified & First Aid.
Tash is the friendly face you’ll meet first — juggling check-ins, guest drop-offs, and trail rides like a pro. She’s the glue that holds the front end of the show together (and somehow keeps us all organised). Horse Safety Australia Certified & First Aid.
Each year we welcome an assistant guide from overseas who brings fresh stories, riding styles, and horsey wisdom from around the world. It’s a chance to share cultures, swap horse tales, and make every ride just that little bit more special. Be sure to ask who your guide is this season — you might just be riding with an international horse whisperer!
